Idaho Outdoor Association

Welcome to the IOA!
Our Mission and Objectives are:

  • To promote and encourage stewardship of the wildlife, habitat, and recreational resources of the state of Idaho.

  • To encourage good sportsmanship, ethics, and responsibility in outdoor activities.

  • To conserve, protect, and help maintain both public and private property used for recreational purposes.

  • To promote and encourage healthy outdoor activities.

We believe that anyone who participates in outdoor recreation of any kind should be willing to help protect and improve the natural resources of the state of Idaho.

General meetings are held at our hall at 7:00 P.M., the second Tuesday of each month, October through May.

Our meetings are free, open to the public, and refreshments are encouraged.

Check out our events tab.

IOA Members' Holiday Party and White Elephant Swap

Tuesday, December 10, 2024

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

@ New York Richie's, 5865 N Glenwood St.

IOA Members! Please join us for some Holiday cheer at New York Richie's. This place has great Indian-Style pizza! You can buy it by the slice or a whole pie. They have a great assortment of beers and wine as well. To help the staff, please order your food and beverages at the front counter and pay at that time. If you go for second beers, please do the same. We have reserved the back room under the IOA name. We will imbibe, eat and be merry. We are also having a White Elephant Gift Exchange. Last year, some of the gifts were: Profane socks, an Ouija Board, Obscure Beers, Odd jewelry and other silly items. Please bring one wrapped White Elephant per person. They can be worth anything from a dollar to $20.00, but no more.

Please sign up at our Events Page.
